Teens Chat

♦ It’s held in the month of January, at the beginning of the year when schools have just resumed.

Get it Right

♦ It’s held in the month of February, in commemoration of Valentine’s Day, usually celebrated on the 14th of February.

The Boy Child Day

♦ It’s held in the month of May, in commemoration of the international day of the boy child. This is usually on the 16th of May of every year.

Children’s Day

♦ It’s held on the 27th of May of every year. tagged "Love on the street".

The Girl Child Day

♦ It’s held on the 11th of October, in commemoration of the international day of the girl child.

Operation Write Well

♦ It’s held in schools all throughout the year.

Book Club

♦ It’s held fortnightly to support children in a chosen community.

Donation of Educational Materials

♦ It’s held in selected schools throughout the year.

Teens Chat

  • It’s held in the month of January,  at the beginning of the year when schools have just resumed.

Goal

The goal is to support school children on how to make plans and set their goals for the year. It’s geared towards academic excellence and wholesome life as a pupil or student.

Finally, a follow-up plan is put in place to keep checking up on the students and to provide further help when needed.

  • It’s held in the month of February, in commemoration of Valentine’s Day, usually celebrated on the 14th of February.

Goal

The goal is to sensitize school children about the true meaning of love and the absolute need for them to keep themselves and focus on their studies.

The Boy Child Day

  • It’s held in the month of May, in commemoration of the international day of the boy child. This is usually on the 16th of May of every year.

Goal

♦ The goal of the program is to celebrate the boys and make them special. The community has always focused on the girls, leaving the boy child uncatered for. Smiley is building a community that makes every opportunity available to all.

During the event, the boys are usually sensitized on health, wellbeing, and academics with other related matters.

Children's Day

  • Tagged “Love on the Street. 
  • It’s held on the 27th of May of every year.

Goal

♦ The goal of the event is to make every child we meet feel special.

♦ The celebration is tagged “Love on the Street.” It is usually an avenue for the organizations to reach out to more children on the streets of underserved communities. It is not done in a particular school like other programs, but instead in a community.

The Girl Child Day

  • It’s held on the 11th of October, in commemoration of the international day of the girl child.

Goal

♦ The goal of the program is to celebrate the girls and make them feel special. It is held in school on most occasions.

Operation Write Well

  • It’s held in schools all throughout the year.

Goal

♦ The goal of the program is to train and equip children with illegible handwriting. The program is usually held for four consecutive days or less. And after the training, the learners are handover to the school for close monitoring to maintain the new way of writing legibly.

  • It’s held fortnightly to support children in a chosen community.

♦ The goal is to build the reading culture of the children, and while building their confidence and academic excellence.
